Education Today - wikis

Today we made a wiki about the effects that technology has on education today. We learnt about how wikis work and what their used for. I think that wikis are a good way for people to share ideas on what they think on certain subjects, people can also edit what you put on a wiki which is another good thing as some information may be incorrect and someone can edit it but also it may be old information on it and this can be updated by whoever is on the subject at that time. Today we also found out about how much technology has changed and how it has changed in education also how it will continue to change and what effects it has on pupils and teachers.

What are blogs...

This is my first blog and its going to be about what is a blog? A blog is what people use to communicate with others about subjects. They can be things from sport topics, general life to educational purposes. Blogs can be very infomrative or pointless details of what people have done in their day! By looking at blogs today i found that they genrally have photos to show what the topic is going to be about and something abou the person who wrote them. Some of the blogs which we looked at were quite iformatvie and interesting whereas others were of little use to anyone!
